Taganrog metallurgical works is going to implement electric steel arc complex in 2013

Ilya Gitomorskiy, director of foreign relations department, has informed that “Taganrog metallurgical works” (part of "Pipe metallurgical company") is going to finish the project of electric steel arc complex construction in 2013.
This project is being realized since 2007 according to strategical investment program. The project’s costs are more than 19 milliard roubles and the program is planned until 2014.
"All objects of this program except the arc electric furnace oven (DSP-150) have been installed. It is planned to finish this project in 2013", - he said, without mentioning the costs.
At the moment there is a lot of general constructions and design works at the factory. The whole equipment has been already bought and installed. The assembling is planned for 2011.
The designed capacity of DSP-150 is 950 thousand tons of steel p. a. This operation will enable to increase the production volume and extend range of meltable steel, to improve metal quality.
