Production of copper wire rods, profiles and wires increased in Russia

According to information of the Federal Statistics Service in the first month of current year refine copper output increased on 4.1% and 8.9% with respect to January and December of 2010 correspondingly.
By January of the past year copper wire rod and profile output rose on 86.2%, wire output - on 88,1%, but foil output decreased on 27,1%, flat section (plate, sheet, band and stripe) output - on 0,3%. In regard to December of 2010 in Russia wire was produced more than 24,7%, but output of other semi-products decreased: rod and profile output reduced on 18,2%, flat section - on 36,2%, foil -on 45,6%.
